          Myanmar, it is the place where the natural beauties and minerals resources are maintained. Whenever we talk about the resources there will be "2" kinds. Pharkant
        Pharkant is located in Myitkyina district Kachin state. It is 960 km from north of Yangon West side of Uru river. A massive jade stone (3940 tons) was found at Nanthamaw jade quarry, in Pharkant township. (With special permission, Pharkant is accessible by road from Myitkyina.)
        The Myanmar sapphire has of the properties of the Ruby except for its clearness of deep blue sky. It is mined together with Ruby and precious stone in Mogok.
        Diamond, the most brilliant of gems, also be found in Myanmar , Myanmar diamonds are of superior gem quality.
        Another interesting one in Myanmar is Pearl. It can be found in two kinds they are culture pearl and Natural pearl. You can distinguish by using X-Rays. If you find tiny grain in the central of Pearl it is call culture pearl. If there is nothing, it is natural Pearl. Myanmar Pearls are cultivated around Pearl Island in the Mergui Archipelago, 400 miles south of Yangon. The largest pearl in Myanmar obtain from "Pearl Island", with the weight of 200 ratios.

         Myanmar gems Museum was built and opens at 66, Kabaaye pagoda road in Mayan Gone Township, Myanmar. The first Myanmar gems, jade and pearl emporium was held at December 0964, Managed by Ministry of Mines. Myanmar Gems Emporium is annually held in Yangon city, displaying the standard and precious Myanmar various jade and Jewels.
